Prodapt, a global leader in providing software engineering and infrastructure services to the Connectedness industry (Telecom, Media, and Technology), is hiring a permanent Full Stack Java Engineer for its development center in Hyderabad. Operating under a collaborative hybrid model, this software engineering role focuses on the end-to-end delivery of new features, platform enhancements, and production defect resolutions across modern 3-tier and cloud-native application stacks. In addition to technical development, you will manage source configurations, drive test quality via automated verification, author clear systems documentation, and act as a cross-functional technical liaison between external vendors and internal business, product, and design teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Technology, Computer Science, or a related information technology discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional hands-on development experience implementing full-stack software systems.
  • Deep proficiency in backend engineering using Java, the Spring Framework ecosystem, and object-relational mapping engines via Hibernate.
  • Strong working knowledge of web interface development utilizing Angular JS alongside server-side JavaScript execution platforms using Node JS.
  • Solid capability handling multi-tenant database designs across both relational structures (SQL, PL/SQL, MySQL) and non-relational distributed stores (MongoDB).
  • Hands-on operational experience drafting and executing unit verification scripts via JUnit and web automation flows using Selenium to maintain high-quality deliverables.
  • Good comprehension of version control using GitHub, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices via tools like Jenkins, and container orchestration concepts utilizing Docker.
  • Proven experience working systematically within an Agile framework, contributing to daily Scrum stand-ups, managing sprint timelines, and independently moving technical roadblocks to closure.
  • Active professional certifications in Java, Spring, Hibernate, or Angular/Node, alongside practical exposure to cloud-native development (AWS or Azure) and app security best practices.
